2020 Lab Update

 

   

Hi everyone...

Here is a short update on the status of the lab and what projects I intend to undertake and document over the next few months. 

The lab has been pretty much scaled down to a single R710 & HP 1810G for the foreseeable future due to me moving. As a result you can expect to see me moving a lot more services over to Docker and LXC.

I am looking forwards to deploying OpenStack with JuJu and MAAS fairly soon with the use of a mixture of LXC and Virtual Machines. According to their new documentation Canonical has made some changes which should make the whole process much smoother.

 

Other projects include:

• Deploying LibreNMS
• Creating a LXC Docker Cluster
• Creating a virtualization BeoWulf Cluster
• Proxmox virtual 10G + 100G Networking

• HP 1810G - Lab Networking
  
• NanoPi Neo Plus 2 - 24/7 Remote SSH Access
